In his final annual report to the nation, President Felipe Calderón predicted that 2012 will be the best year ever for Mexico’s hospitality industry.  Tourism, he said, will bring in $17 billion, 27 percent more than the record set in 2008. He forecast that by the end of the year $1.1 billion will have been invested invarious tourism-related projects.
