Developers of what would have been an enormous resort project near Los Cabos announced a cancelation of their plans, at least for the moment. Environmental impact applications made for Los Pericués, which would have included 23,400 hotel rooms, two golf courses, vacation homes and more, have been withdrawn. Los Pericués would have been somewhat smaller than the same company’s Cabo Cortés, halted earlier due to environmental concerns.  A new federal administration takes over in December, and some predict that the developers will return in January.
