Aiming to capture 30 percent of Mexico’s international traffic, Aeroméxico and Delta have entered into a commercial alliance. Delta has purchased 4 percent of AM stock for $65 million. The two carriers between them will build a regional maintenance center in Queretaro, not Guadalajara as AM originally had planned. Queretaro has become an aeronautical manufacturing center in Mexico.
