Epiphany

Today is when lucky children in Mexico found gifts forgotten by Santa Claus left by the Three Wise Men, or Three Kings as they are known locally. Last night, families partook of 12th Night Cake and whoever found a miniature Jesus in his slice is obligated to invite everyone for tamales and hot chocolate on Feb. 2. In other respects, however, the Christmas season is now over. It is time to start planning for Carnaval (Mardi Gras to you).
