Man grove battle


Developers are asking the courts to protect them from new regulations that prohibit the destruction of mangroves along the shoreline. The plants, credited with protecting the shoreline from hurricane damage and from flooding. Hotel builders say that the rules may force the cancelation of $200 million worth of programmed new projects.
